Effective Date: October 2, 2026 Last Updated: October 2, 2026
This Addendum supplements the Clocot Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Billing Policy, and other applicable legal terms. Mandatory local law controls to the extent it cannot lawfully be waived.
1. GENERAL PRINCIPLE
Nothing in Clocot's legal documents is intended to remove a mandatory privacy right, consumer guarantee, withdrawal right, statutory remedy, regulator complaint right, or court-access right.
2. EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA
Where the GDPR applies, individuals may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, and complaint to a supervisory authority. EEA consumers may also have mandatory rights concerning digital services, withdrawal, conformity, cancellation, and remedies. Any loss of a digital-service withdrawal right applies only where the legal conditions for that result have been satisfied.
3. UNITED KINGDOM
Where UK data-protection law applies, individuals may have corresponding access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, direct-marketing, and certain automated-decision rights. UK consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
4. SWITZERLAND
Where Swiss law applies, Clocot will respect applicable transparency, access, correction, security, international-transfer, and complaint requirements. Transfer mechanisms will be adapted where legally required.
5. SERBIA
Where Serbian data-protection law applies, individuals may exercise applicable rights concerning lawful processing, transparency, access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability where applicable, and complaints to the competent authority. Mandatory Serbian consumer protections remain unaffected.
6. CALIFORNIA
Where the California Consumer Privacy Act applies, eligible residents may have rights to know, access, delete, correct, opt out of qualifying sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receive non-discriminatory treatment for exercising rights. Clocot will recognize qualifying opt-out preference signals where required by law.
7. OTHER U.S. STATES
Residents of certain U.S. states may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, targeted advertising, qualifying sales, certain profiling, sensitive data, and appeals. The rights available depend on the applicable state law and exemptions.
8. CANADA
Where Canadian privacy law applies, Clocot will address applicable consent, accountability, access, correction, safeguards, appropriate-purpose, retention, and complaint requirements, including additional provincial requirements where relevant.
9. BRAZIL
Where Brazil's LGPD applies, individuals may have rights including confirmation, access, correction, deletion or blocking in applicable circumstances, portability, information about sharing, withdrawal of consent, objection, and review of certain automated decisions.
10. AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND
Where Australian or New Zealand privacy law applies, Clocot will address applicable transparency, collection, use, disclosure, direct marketing, security, cross-border transfer, access, correction, and complaint requirements. Non-excludable consumer guarantees remain unaffected.
11. SINGAPORE AND APAC
Where Singapore's PDPA or similar APAC privacy laws apply, relevant requirements may include consent, notice, purpose limitation, access, correction, protection, retention limitation, transfer safeguards, and accountability.
12. INDIA
Where India's applicable data-protection framework applies, Clocot will provide the notices, consent processes, correction or erasure mechanisms, grievance process, security measures, and other protections required for processing within scope.
13. CONSUMER CONTRACTS
Automatic-renewal, trial, digital-service, cancellation, refund, and withdrawal rules vary by jurisdiction. Clocot's commercial terms apply subject to any mandatory consumer protection that applies to the transaction.
14. DISPUTE AND LIABILITY CARVE-OUTS
Governing-law, venue, arbitration, class or representative action, warranty, and liability provisions apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law and do not override non-waivable local rights.
