CLOCOT ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

This Acceptable Use Policy defines the minimum rules for using Clocot, including its Offices, Directors, Agents, automations, APIs, integrations, communication tools, AI models, and developer features.
The goal is to allow broad legitimate business and creative use while protecting users, third parties, service providers, infrastructure, and the public from abuse.
1. SCOPE
This Policy applies to all users, Organizations, administrators, developers, API clients, integrations, workflows, Agents, and automated processes using Clocot.
A customer is responsible for activity performed through its Accounts, credentials, workspaces, and configured automations to the extent permitted by law.
2. GENERAL RULE
You may use Clocot for lawful purposes consistent with the Terms of Service and applicable policies.
You must not use Clocot to cause, facilitate, conceal, automate, scale, or materially assist conduct that would be unlawful or prohibited if performed directly by a person.
3. ILLEGAL ACTIVITY
You may not use Clocot to:
- plan or facilitate criminal activity;
- evade lawful restrictions;
- traffic unlawful goods or services;
- knowingly process unlawfully obtained data;
- obstruct law enforcement unlawfully; or
- otherwise violate applicable law.
4. FRAUD AND DECEPTION
You may not use Clocot for:
- financial fraud;
- payment fraud;
- fake invoices;
- fraudulent fundraising;
- fraudulent investment solicitations;
- identity fraud;
- fabricated authorization;
- deceptive impersonation;
- false business records; or
- deliberate schemes intended to obtain money, credentials, property, or services by deception.
5. PHISHING AND CREDENTIAL THEFT
You may not use Clocot to create, automate, host, distribute, or optimize:
- phishing messages;
- fake login pages;
- credential-harvesting workflows;
- malicious QR codes;
- deceptive recovery flows;
- stolen authentication tokens; or
- social-engineering campaigns designed to obtain secrets or unauthorized access.
6. MALWARE AND CYBER ABUSE
You may not use Clocot to deploy or materially facilitate:
- malware;
- ransomware;
- destructive payloads;
- botnets;
- credential stuffing;
- unauthorized exploitation;
- denial-of-service attacks;
- persistence on systems without authorization;
- destructive data manipulation; or
- other malicious cyber activity.
Legitimate defensive security research, authorized testing, secure coding, incident response, and vulnerability remediation may be permitted when conducted within lawful authorization.
7. UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS
You must not use Clocot to access or attempt to access an account, system, network, database, device, or service without authorization.
You must not bypass authentication, access controls, paywalls, technical restrictions, or platform security measures unless you have a lawful right to do so.
8. SPAM AND UNSOLICITED COMMUNICATIONS
You may not use Clocot to send spam or unlawful bulk communications.
Automated outreach must comply with applicable:
- anti-spam laws;
- telemarketing laws;
- electronic-communications rules;
- consent requirements;
- sender-identification rules;
- unsubscribe requirements;
- do-not-call rules; and
- platform policies.
High message volume does not excuse the need for a lawful basis and appropriate recipient targeting.
9. EMAIL, SMS, WHATSAPP, VOICE, AND SOCIAL MESSAGING
If you use Clocot to send communications, you are responsible for:
- having the right to contact the recipient;
- honoring opt-outs;
- maintaining suppression lists where required;
- identifying the sender where required;
- obtaining consent for calls or recordings where required;
- complying with provider terms; and
- stopping communications when legally required.
Clocot may suspend communications features where complaint rates, bounce rates, abuse signals, or provider requirements indicate misuse.
10. HARASSMENT, THREATS, AND EXPLOITATION
You may not use Clocot to:
- threaten violence;
- stalk or harass individuals;
- coordinate targeted abuse;
- blackmail or extort;
- exploit vulnerable persons;
- facilitate trafficking or coercion; or
- create campaigns intended to intimidate an individual unlawfully.
11. CHILD SAFETY
Clocot must never be used to create, obtain, distribute, solicit, or facilitate child sexual abuse material or sexual exploitation of minors.
You must not use Clocot to groom, sexualize, exploit, traffic, or endanger a child.
Suspected child exploitation may be reported to appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law.
12. PRIVACY VIOLATIONS
You may not use Clocot to unlawfully collect, expose, sell, infer, combine, or exploit personal information.
Prohibited uses include:
- doxxing;
- unlawful publication of private information;
- unauthorized access to private communications;
- covert tracking in violation of law;
- unlawful location surveillance; and
- processing sensitive personal information without an appropriate legal basis.
13. UNLAWFUL SURVEILLANCE
Clocot may not be used to conduct unlawful surveillance or persistent monitoring of individuals.
Use of cameras, audio, location, device identifiers, biometrics, employee-monitoring tools, or other monitoring technologies must comply with applicable notice, consent, labor, privacy, and surveillance laws.
14. BIOMETRICS AND IDENTITY
You may not use Clocot to create an unlawful biometric-identification database or perform prohibited biometric surveillance.
Face, voice, or likeness generation must not be used for identity fraud, deceptive impersonation, or unauthorized authentication bypass.
15. SCRAPING AND DATA COLLECTION
Clocot may be used for lawful research and data collection, but not to:
- bypass access controls;
- ignore legally binding restrictions;
- collect personal data unlawfully;
- overwhelm a service;
- evade technical blocks;
- impersonate legitimate users to obtain restricted data; or
- republish protected content unlawfully.
Users are responsible for the legal and contractual basis of scraping or automated collection.
16. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
You may not use Clocot to knowingly infringe or misappropriate:
- copyright;
- trademark;
- patent rights;
- trade secrets;
- database rights;
- publicity rights; or
- other intellectual-property rights.
You must have appropriate rights to content uploaded, transformed, distributed, or used commercially.
17. DECEPTIVE SYNTHETIC MEDIA
You may not use Clocot to create deceptive synthetic media for fraud, identity theft, evidence fabrication, extortion, or harmful impersonation.
Where AI-generated or materially manipulated content requires disclosure by law or platform rules, you must provide that disclosure.
18. HIGH-IMPACT DECISIONS
You must not use Clocot in a manner that unlawfully discriminates or denies people rights or essential opportunities.
Where Clocot assists with employment, credit, housing, insurance, healthcare, education, or similar significant decisions, users must implement legally required safeguards, including human review where required.
19. PROFESSIONAL AND REGULATED ACTIVITY
Clocot may assist with professional workflows, but users are responsible for licensing and regulatory requirements.
You may not present Clocot as a licensed lawyer, doctor, investment adviser, accountant, engineer, or other regulated professional when it is not legally authorized to act as one.
20. FINANCIAL AND INVESTMENT MISUSE
You may not use Clocot to:
- conduct investment fraud;
- fabricate returns;
- conceal material risks;
- manipulate markets unlawfully;
- operate an unlicensed regulated financial service where licensing is required; or
- evade sanctions, anti-money-laundering, or financial-compliance obligations.
21. WEAPONS AND DANGEROUS ACTIVITY
You may not use Clocot to materially facilitate unlawful development, acquisition, deployment, or use of weapons, explosives, or other dangerous systems.
Legitimate compliance, safety, defensive, historical, or authorized professional work may be subject to additional review and restrictions.
22. SELF-HARM AND EXPLOITATIVE CONTENT
You may not use Clocot to encourage, coordinate, or optimize self-harm, suicide, or exploitation of a vulnerable person.
Clocot is not an emergency service or crisis provider.
23. SAFETY-SYSTEM CIRCUMVENTION
You may not attempt to:
- disable safeguards;
- bypass permission controls;
- evade abuse detection;
- manipulate metering;
- conceal prohibited activity;
- rotate accounts to avoid enforcement; or
- deliberately circumvent rate, usage, or security limits.
24. INFRASTRUCTURE ABUSE
You may not use Clocot in a way that intentionally or recklessly:
- degrades the Services;
- consumes disproportionate resources;
- floods APIs;
- interferes with other users;
- causes provider suspension; or
- creates unreasonable security or operational risk.
25. ACCOUNT AND CREDENTIAL ABUSE
You may not:
- sell or transfer Accounts in violation of the Terms;
- share secrets publicly;
- distribute API keys to unauthorized persons;
- impersonate another customer;
- use stolen payment methods; or
- access another Organization’s workspace without authorization.
26. SANCTIONS AND EXPORT RESTRICTIONS
You may not use Clocot where doing so would violate applicable trade sanctions, export controls, embargoes, or restrictions on prohibited persons, entities, or activities.
27. RESELLING AND WHITE LABELING
You may not resell Clocot as a standalone competing service, sublicense access, or white-label the Services unless your plan or a written agreement expressly permits it.
28. REPORTING ABUSE
Suspected abuse may be reported to office@clocot.com.
Provide enough information to identify the relevant account, content, workflow, or event without sending unnecessary sensitive information.
29. ENFORCEMENT
Depending on severity, we may:
- warn the user;
- require remediation;
- remove or block content;
- disable an integration;
- restrict a feature;
- reduce automation privileges;
- suspend communications;
- suspend an Account;
- terminate an Account; or
- report conduct where legally required or appropriate.
We may act immediately where delay would create material security, safety, legal, or provider risk.
30. CHANGES AND CONTACT
We may update this Policy as abuse patterns, technology, provider requirements, and law change.
